Rainbows

When God created the earth there were two majour water bodies. One was on the earth, separating the land masses (the water bodies we know today) and the other was above the earth, like a canopy, making it very humid, much like today's rainforests. The sun, moon, and stars, most likely still were seeable, but everything was a little more gloomy. At the time of Noah, God got tired off the sinful practices of the people on earth and opened the canopy of water above the earth, while sending rain, flooding the entire world. After forty days and forty nights the canopy was empty. After the water resided and the earth dried, God let Noah and the animals off the ark. God then "placed His bow in the sky", a symbol of His presence and a promise to us to never destroy the whole earth by flood again. Still today after the nastiest of storms and/or flooding, God reminds His people that it will be okay. The rainbow has always been and will forever be a symbol of God's love and mercy. Today it is used as the face of the gay movement, yet it is misused, for the rainbow in itself is fully Christian. Remember God's promise and embrace the rainbow, don't enslave it and use it as a marketing tool.

Go share God's love, mercy, and promises with the rainbow and have sweet dreams. May God bless you.
