Superman is Best (Part 1)

I marked this blog as part one because I know I will talk about Superman again. Superman is amazing! Today I'm going to prove why Superman can beat anyone. I've randomly selected six other heroes to pit Superman's powers up against.

Green Lantern

The flying aspect of Green Lantern can be immediately disregarded since Superman too can fly. They then cancel each other out. Green Lantern's ability to conjure instant weaponry is useless against the Man of Steel because he is impervious to any and all ammunition. The force field that can be enabled by the power rings of the Green Lantern Corp may prove challenging to beat, however, concentration must be held to be useful and since the force field is not of the damaging variety a barrage of super-strength punches or pushes from super-breath could break concentration directly or push Green Lantern into a place that might. The power ring is where Green Lantern gets all his power without it he is powerless. If Superman can retrieve the ring the fight would be over immediately. Superman posses super-speed, so if he doesn't simply rip the hand off of Green Lantern, he could speedily slip it of his finger. Hal Jordan has shown the ability to have a construct emit Kryptonite radiation under Batman's guidance, however, this is a fight between the Green Lantern and Superman only, so Batman can not be a service.
Superman wins.

Swamp Thing

Both Swamp Thing and Superman share the power of super-strength. So that power can be disregarded. Swamp Thing has control over any and all vegetation, however, Superman has the ability to shoot heat waves from his eyes and has super-breath that has been seen to be, at times, super cool, this too would kill the plants. Swamp Thing is super smart formally being a scientist, however, Superman too possesses a very high IQ. Now knowing that this battle would never actually happen due to Superman's ecofriendly views and Swamp Thing's natural friendliness, in fact Swamp Thing saves Superman's life in DC Comics Presents #85, yet if it did happen, Superman would most definitely win.

Batwoman (on the right in the picture)

Batwoman is, of course, not a superhero. All she has, like Batman, are her gadgets. So since Superman is impervious to all ammunition, most of her weapons are useless. Her martial arts are useless compared to his super-strength and super-speed. However, since Batwoman has access to the Batcave, she also has access to Batman's stash of Kryptonite. However, with super-sight and heatwave vision that can be effective out to 100ft, Batwoman would not be able to get close enough with the Kryptonite to be effective against Superman.
So, all in all, Superman wins.

Blue Shield

Blue Shield is a minor Marvel Comics character. Out of both heroes we can cancel super-strength, agility, and stamina. Superman can, in fact, run faster than Blue Shield, as we have seen him go toe to toe with the Flash who can run faster than the speed of sound. The fighting aspect of the Blue Shield can be cancelled as we know that Superman has been trained by the likes of Batman, Wonder Woman, and others in the fighting arts. Blue Shield's force field can absorb up to 1000 psi without the Blue Shield being buffeted by the impact, easily blocking knives, bullets, fists, and some electromagnetic phenomena, such as thermal radiation, but it does not stop sound or light. However, both Superman's heat vision and straight punches are strong enough to break force field. So even though Blue Shield may be good for a bodyguard or security head, he is no match for Superman. Although the Guardian vs. Blue Shield would be cool, this is Superman vs. Blue Shield, and Superman wins.

Luke Cage

The super strength that both heroes possess can be cancelled out. As well as the impervious skin. Luke Cage's healing factor is usually around three times the speed of that of an average man, however, with super-speed punches and kicks, Superman can lay out damage faster than Luke Cage can take it. Superman wins.

Black Panther

Both Superman and Black Panther possess super-strength, senses, and stamina. Those then can be cancelled out. Superman's durability/invulnerability can be cancelled out due to the vibranium suit that Black Panther wears giving him that same edge. Black Panther being the great tracker that he is would be able to find Superman anywhere, yet this isn't a real needed attribute because Superman isn't really one to hide. And if he did try to hide it would most likely be in the Fortress of Solitude where Superman would then have a definite edge on Black Panther. So Black Panther wouldn't really want to do that. Being the great scientist/strategist/tactician that the Black Panther is, if given time he could find out as much about Superman as Lex Luthor has, so everything. This would then give Black Panther a slight edge in knowing all of Superman's powers and weaknesses, however, the bad guys in Superman 2 did too and it didn't help. He would most definitely learn about kryptonite and where to get it and how to get in contact with those who have it (or, being a king, could buy it). However, being as self-sufficient as the Black Panther likes to be, the chances of getting his hands on kryptonite are slim to none. This leaves Black Panther with only his great skills of combat. The weaponry aspect of Black Panther's combat skills are negligible due to the "weapons" Superman still has, heat vision, super-breath, and the shield throw used in the second Superman movie. Black Panther is now down to only his advanced knowledge and ability of fighting genres. This includes all forms of unarmed battle and animal mimicry. Superman still as his ability to fly which is a great disadvantage to Black Panther. Superman is a pretty good fighter himself, but is limited really only to a boxing or bare-knuckle style of fighting. So a hand-to-hand fight would rage on. Realistically Black Panther would start to get an edge but Superman has another trick up his sleeve, Super Flare, the ability to expel solar energy in forceful blasts.
Although this was a close one, Superman would still win in the end.

Superman is very overpowered in the comic book world, which is totally okay, because he is awesome. He is actually part of my inspiration on choosing the ministry as my chosen profession (currently only studies), but that's a story for another blog!

Depending on how much time you spend on the internet, those that scour millions of sites may accuse me of plagiarism, but, in actuality, all the info above is from my failed blog "Superman Vs".

As always, I hope you have sweet dreams, and may God bless you and your superfriends.
